We started The Online Notebook started on April 25, 2007 because everyone started moving out of Guam. This virtual notebook thing kept us together; you'll never imagine how much.
By the way, the second song is a song we wrote about our friendship and growing up on Guam. Here's the lyrics.
WHERE THE DAY BEGINS Written by: Angelica, Cathleen & Joseph Music by: Fred & Dylan Vocals: Ava, Stephanie, Dylan & Christine Recorded at.... Fred's house. HAHA I just had to add that in.
Drips of dawn fall on this cobweb This drip glistens, vibrations laughter {Oh, its} Imperfections bring {imperfections} I hope that it stays perfect Its flaws bring this, this kiss of {gliss} Let's end this; fragility takes
Got up not ready for this {blown, cold} world Utter warmth starts tickling my skin An angel whispered that I'm more than lucky; {I'm blessed} My home resides in your heart, where the day begins
Could it ever be rebuilt Oh, so meticulously--never broken to feel it coming The spider spins her web A riddle deciphered a glisten that improves by drops of insanity That brings it to an offbeat sanity.
Chicken kelaguen and some red rice A little Finedene and the Walk for Life Beaches, sunsets, and coconut trees Slippers always called zories Junky cars on the side of the road Never ending barbeques and pot roast Trolleys to Micronesia Mall No seasons like winter, spring, or fall Stray dogs and chickens roam around Malafunksun on the radio 5K runs and Koko birds Stereotypes on the schools we heard, Academy's sluts and the smarts of St. John's FD's cocky guys and something that rhymes with johns St. Paul's are students to some degree Kicked out of FD, ND, and AOLG
[G]ot up, not ready for this blown cold world [U]tter warmth starts tickling my skin [A]n angel whispered that I'm more than lucky, I'm blessed. [M]y home resides in your hearts, where the day begins
Blog includes but not limited to: personal interests, dilettante daybook entries, assorted island information, possibly some humor, plus a little bit slambook, and a touch of soapbox on occasion.
